Man killed in southeast DC shooting identified

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced that it had a man who was shot in southeast DC on Saturday Afternoon.

Police said they were called around 4:10 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 2700 block of Shipley Terrace.

The man died at the scene. He was identified as 29-year-old Dionzae Foote of Oxon Hill, Maryland.

The MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
