Durham police are searching for a suspect in connection with the shooting on Fayetteville Street

DURHAM, N.C – Durham police are asking for the public’s help in locating a person connected to a March 29 shooting.

On March 29 at 6:58 p.m., officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound in the 2700 block of Chapel Hill Road. When officers arrived, they found a man shot. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred around 6:45 p.m. that day near the intersection of Fayetteville Street and East Pilot Street.

The investigation is ongoing.
