Man charged in connection with investigation into Waller Avenue shooting in Lexington, Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – A man has been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred in Lexington in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police said officers were dispatched around 12:37 a.m. in response to gunshots in the 200 block of Waller Avenue.


When police arrived, they found bullet casings on the street and reportedly learned that someone in a car had “fired at another vehicle.”

According to Lexington police, officers used the Real-Time Intelligence Center, license plate readers and FUSUS to find the person who shot at the car.

21-year-old Kaden Brothers was arrested and charged with:

  • Three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment
  • First degree property damage
  • Second degree illegal transactions with minors
  • Possession of marijuana

Brothers was booked into the Fayette County Detention Center.
