Meridian woman dies after motorcycle crash near Lucky Peak Dam

According to state police, the 20-year-old was unable to negotiate a curve in the road.

ADA COUNTY, Idaho — A 20-year-old Meridian woman has died after she was unable to maneuver her motorcycle around a curve in the road near Lucky Peak Dam. According to Idaho State Police (ISP), the accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, about 9.5 miles from the dam

According to ISP, the woman was riding a 2024 Yamaha YZFR3 in the left lane when she crashed. She was wearing a helmet but died at the scene.

There were no other injuries and ISP is investigating the accident.
