John Force on the road to recovery after funny car accident

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – After an intensive recovery period, NHRA champion John Force is on the mend.

The 16-time title holder was injured in an accident during the first round of Funny Car eliminations at the PLAYNHRA Virginia Nationals.

Since the incident, the Hall of Famer has been receiving regular medical care and is showing signs of recovery, but he is aware that he still has a long road ahead of him.
