Interstate 44 Meeting on Planned Improvements in Rolla

Those interested in improvements to nearby Interstate 44 can attend a public meeting scheduled for July 18 in Rolla.

It’s 5 to 7 p.m. at Rolla City Hall, 901 N. Elm St.

During the summer of 2024, the Missouri Department of Transportation and its consultants (Hg Consult – West Consultant Study Team and Garver – East Consultant Study Team) will host meetings with stakeholders along the I-44 corridor.

The goal is to provide the public with an opportunity to comment and learn more about the environmental study of more than 250 miles of the I-44 corridor from the Oklahoma state line to the Franklin County/St. Louis County boundary. This study is a critical step in preparing for future projects on I-44, and gathering feedback will ensure it reflects identified user needs.
