Man rapes 10-year-old boy in Pakistan, films the attack for blackmail and distributes video: report

The videos were used to coerce and blackmail the boy, Dawn reported (objective).

Muzaffargarh, Pakistan:

A man allegedly raped a 10-year-old boy in Pakistan’s Muzaffargarh, filmed the attack and shared the videos on social media in an attempt to blackmail the child, the Dawn newspaper reported. Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to arrest the accused.

According to officials at Bait Mir Hazar Khan police station in Muzaffargarh, the accused lured the boy to a well under the pretext that he wanted to bathe. He then raped the boy and filmed the attack.

The videos were later used to coerce and blackmail the boy, Dawn reported.

In another incident near Swabi-Haripur district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police arrested two men accused of attacking a girl. The survivor, identified as a relative of the suspects, underwent a medical examination which confirmed the attack, Dawn reported.

Police said that based on the survivor’s statement before a magistrate, a case has been filed against the accused. Trials are currently underway against suspects Itikhar Khan and Sirtaj Khan, they said.
