Elmwood Village Arts Festival to Return in August

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) – Mark those calendars! The Elmwood Village ArtFest is set to return in August.

The Elmwood Village Association said the second annual event will feature local artwork, live entertainment at Bidwell Parkway and the Elmwood Extreme Eats contest.

“We were thrilled with the response to last year’s new festival and look forward to growing this event each year within the community,” said James Cichocki, EVA’s executive director. “It’s a great way to support local artists and performers as well as small businesses in the Village of Elmwood, and it feels like the last hurrah of summer.”

In March 2023, organizers of the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts announced the end of the festival. Just two weeks later, the EVA announced it would take over management of the festival under a new name, Elmwood Village Artfest.

The Elmwood Avenue Arts Festival is ending after 24 years.
