Two people in custody after deadly shooting at North Houston apartment

HOUSTON (KIAH) – The Houston Police Department (HPD) responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of W. Gulf Bank around 12:30 a.m. this morning. When they arrived, they found a man shot just inside an apartment. According to HPD, the victim walked toward the house and walked right next to the two people standing in front. They asked him what he was doing and then tried to force him out of the apartment. One of the homeowners was armed with a gun and shot the suspected intruder.
