Sturgis Buffalo Chip Announces Celebrity Guests and Bare-Knuckle Fights – Drag Bike News

The generosity of bikers will once again be highlighted during the 84th annual Sturgis Rally. This year, participants in the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Charity Rides will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with legendary actors, electrifying sports icons, motorcycle industry greats and much more. The Legends Ride, Biker Belles and Rusty Wallace Ride raise funds to support local and national charities and break the misconception that the community does not benefit from visitors to the Sturgis Rally. To date, Buffalo Chip charity events alone have raised over $2.3 million for worthy causes due to the generous nature of these same visitors. The Ride That Rocks® is getting a makeover in 2024, and the Chip is coming out of the gate strong with the addition of celebrity guests for the Legends Ride – Ian Ziering, Blake Wallenda, Lloyd Greer, Rod Woodruff and Daymon Woodruff. Special guests at the Legends Lunch include Ian Ziering and Blake Wallenda.

In addition to these esteemed guests, the event will begin with a grand kickoff at the Nation Center Monument in Belle Fourche, which will include the Legends Luncheon, celebrity meet-and-greets and much more. Then it’s around the booths for a scenic ride to the Buffalo Chip for a private reception and charity auction.

The Home for Women in Sturgis celebrates its 16th anniversary in 2024 with the addition of Captains Karen Davidson and Shelly Rossmeyer. Female riders, passengers and their supportive friends are invited to a day of relaxing and inspiring festivities that celebrate the fastest growing segment of motorcycling – WOMEN – while supporting organizations that champion women’s causes.

Biker Belles kicks off with The Morning Ride™, which departs from The Lodge at Deadwood and continues with a full day of events at The Chip like Team Diva’s Comfort Zone, Coffee Clutch with brunch and guest speakers, Biker Belles Women’s Bike Show™ presented by Maiden Moto, The Real Deal Revolution and more.

The Rusty Wallace Ride at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip presented by Harley-Davidson® is expanding for its 6th annual event on Friday, August 9. Special guests at this year’s event include Rusty Wallace, Steve Wallace, Kenny Wallace, Chris McDonald, Karen Davidson David Uhl, Mike Skinner, Krista Marie, Jack Sprague, Greg Biffle, Clay Millican, Jeff Lutz, Rick Ware, Scott Jacobs, Senator Tom Wright, Rod Woodruff and Daymon Woodruff.

The ride begins at Outlaw Square and Rocksino by Hard Rock Deadwood in Historic Deadwood, SD. After a scenic loop through the Black Hills, the ride returns to Deadwood for a reception and auction at Rocksino by Hard Rock and Silverado Franklin. Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion, will make its highly anticipated debut in Sturgis, South Dakota with BKFC-63 on Saturday, August 3 at the Legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip. The exciting event, featuring the BKFC Women’s Strawweight World Title fight between longtime rivals, reigning champion Britain Hart (8-3) and No. 3 ranked challenger Taylor ‘Killa Bee’ Starling, (4-2), is promoted with Grunt Style apparel during the first weekend of the iconic 84th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Britain Hart said of her third world title defense: “I’m super excited to finally be back in the ring and do it big in the main event in Sturgis on August 3rd. because she is not a killer. We’ve been talking about this fight for at least three years. This is personal and professional for me, which makes me the most dangerous threat she has ever faced. Taylor Starling, it’s time for you to go!

Taylor Starling said: “Both of our careers have led us to this moment, we are two of the best BKFC has to offer and I can’t wait to share the ring with Great Britain. But unfortunately for her, the belt is going to my house, The Killa B, and I’m going to bite her ass.

A longtime BKFC veteran dating back to the promotions second event on August 25, 2018, Britain Hart has brought a warrior spirit to every fight. This has earned her a huge following across the country, with huge crowds supporting her from coast to coast. Triumphant over Charisa Sigala at BKFC-29 on September 10, 2022, the 34-year-old Bedford, Virginia native was rewarded with BKFC’s first women’s strawweight world title. Her two dominant defenses came against Jenny Savage (BKFC-39) and Melanie Shah (BKFC-51). Currently riding a four-fight winning streak, she also holds exciting victories over combat sports stars Paige VanZant, Pearl Gonzalez and Bec Rawlings.

Taylor Starling, 28, jumps into world title contention after a superior performance against Jenny Clasius on January 27, 2024. The Rock Hill, SC native also has wins under her belt against Charisa Sigala, Cassie Robb and Angelica Martinez .
