2 dead, 1 injured after shooting in Tarboro

Two people are dead and one person is in the hospital after a shooting in Tarboro early Sunday morning.

Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office officers responded to a 911 call at 3:11 a.m. after learning that multiple people had been shot on Branchwood Lane.

When officers arrived at the scene, two people were dead and one person was taken to ECU Health with a gunshot wound.
