Tragic riding accident leaves nurse paralyzed from the neck down

The Storm Prediction Center has rated the risk of thunderstorms for most of the state at Level 2 out of 5, so isolated to scattered severe storms are expected to develop during the afternoon. Thunderstorms will occur between noon and 6 p.m. Thunderstorms are likely to develop in communities northwest of Bangor in the early afternoon, in Bangor in the afternoon, and in the Downeast in the early evening.
