Edinburgh schoolgirl ‘sexually harassed by group on Cramond Beach’

Edinburgh police are investigating the sexual abuse of two schoolgirls over the weekend.

Officers said investigations were “ongoing” after reports emerged that the two teenagers, aged 14 and 15, were victims of the crime in Cramond Beach on Saturday, June 29.




As Edinburgh Live reported, the two were approached by a group of young people on a quad bike on the first day of the summer holidays in the capital.

A Police Scottish spokesman said: “Officers are investigating the sexual assault of two young women, aged 14 and 15, which occurred in the Cramond Beach area of ​​Edinburgh on Saturday 29 June 2024.”

“The investigation is ongoing.”

Cramond Beach is a popular area for families and is generally considered safe as the crime rate is low.
