On June 29, Russian troops attacked the town of Derhachi in Kharkiv Oblast, injuring three people, said Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi military administration.

This was the most massive attack on Derhachi since 2022. Four aerial bombs were dropped.

Two men, aged 68 and 75, suffered shrapnel injuries and were hospitalised, while a 71-year-old woman suffered acute stress.

The shelling damaged numerous buildings, including at least 25 residential buildings, agricultural buildings, a car repair shop, cars and a civilian business. Power lines were partially destroyed.

Russia has recently intensified its attacks on Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, using missiles, glide bombs and drones that have destroyed energy infrastructure and killed civilians.

According to local authorities, three people were killed and more than 50 injured in an attack on a residential building and a business in Kharkiv on June 22.
