Attentive play by Jamal Thiare gives Atlanta United the much-needed win

According to MLS, it was the third-to-last game-winning goal in franchise history.

Atlanta United ended its seven-game winning streak at home, a result that came at a good time for the team ahead of two tough games against New England and Salt Lake.

“I’ll let us enjoy it… but… we’ll wake up and do it again,” Valentino said.

Thiare came on as a substitute and attempted difficult shots and assists, but as the clock ran down, his last-minute cleverness came to the fore.

Just in time for Atlanta United.
