First warning: calm after storms

(KFVS) – Today things look much calmer after Wednesday’s storms.

There will be fewer clouds and less humidity, but our southern Illinois counties will experience some wind.

Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Lows on Friday will be around 50° under partly cloudy skies.

There may also be short, isolated showers in the morning. Most locations remain dry.

Friday afternoon will be windy and temperatures will be in the low 70s.

The weekend looks dry, with afternoon highs reaching the low 80s on Sunday.

Starting Monday, there will be several rains and storms over the next week.
