A heat advisory is issued for Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson counties. Temperatures will be in the low 35s to high 35s, and the heat index could reach 46 degrees! A heat advisory is issued for inland counties. The heat index could reach 48 degrees in those areas. There won’t be much rain in the area in the morning, but scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening. We’re also monitoring Hurricane Beryl in the Atlantic.
