LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were arrested in an armed vehicle robbery in Fremont on Wednesday, according to police.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers received a report that a Subaru Legacy had been stolen in an armed robbery.

Officers began patrolling the area for the Subaru and another SUV that were involved in the theft, police said.

Officers eventually found both vehicles, but the drivers fled, police said.

The pursuit of the SUV ended in a crash near the Platte River Bridge. The driver was flown to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Officers later found the Subaru Legacy at “another location,” police said.
