Two Sutton residents arrested on outstanding warrants in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE – Two Sutton residents were taken into custody June 29 after a Lyndonville Police Department patrol officer spotted a suspicious vehicle on Depot Street.

The vehicle, which had previously been marked by a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) notification, contained two occupants, both wanted on separate warrants.

The vehicle was driven by 30-year-old Alexis Lohr, who was wanted on a Rutland Superior Court warrant for forgery.

The passenger, 39-year-old Kristin Lawrence, had an arrest warrant out of Caledonia Superior Court for failure to appear for a charge of Driving Under the Influence (No. 1) – Drugs.

Both Lohr and Lawrence were arrested without incident and subsequently housed at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.

Lohr was held on bail of $1,000 cash or surety, while Lawrence was held on bail of $100 cash or surety.

The Vermont State Police assisted in the arrests.

Lyndonville Police continue to urge the public to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
