Man dies in hospital after shooting at Brownsville motel, police say

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. (WMC) – Brownsville police are searching for a suspect in the shooting death of a man.

On June 28, officers responded to a shooting at the Sunrise Inn on West Main Street in Brownsville, Tennessee.

When they arrived, they found Aslam Wilson with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a nearby hospital.

On June 29, Aslam Wilson died as a result of his injuries.

Officers were able to speak to witnesses at the scene and identified the suspect as Judge Clyde Morgan of Alabama.

It is believed that Morgan has left the area and may be heading toward the Mobile, Alabama area.

An arrest warrant was issued against Judge Clyde Morgan for first-degree murder.
