Unfortunately, a significant number of these accidents could have been prevented. Careless and negligent drivers continue to harm innocent people on a daily basis. After a car accident, victims have the opportunity to seek financial compensation for their losses and damages. The most common injuries resulting from car accidents include:

  • Internal organ damage: Injuries to organs such as the lungs, kidneys, spleen, liver, and others can be life-threatening if not treated promptly. Such injuries often involve lacerations or punctures that result in internal bleeding and require immediate medical attention to prevent long-term health consequences.
  • Head injuries: Head injuries can range from minor bruises to severe injuries such as skull fractures and brain damage. Concussions, hematomas and contusions are among the different types of head injuries that vary in severity and may require extensive medical treatment and rehabilitation.
  • Back injuries: Car accidents often result in back injuries, including spinal fractures, herniated discs, and other spinal problems. These injuries can lead to chronic pain, limited mobility, and even paralysis, requiring long-term care and physical therapy.
  • Nerve and tissue damage: Bruises and deep cuts in accidents can severely damage nerves and tissues, impairing their function and causing chronic pain. Such injuries can lead to numbness and reduced muscle function and require special medical interventions to treat symptoms and promote recovery.
