One person is killed and two injured in Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast

On June 29, Russian forces attacked Kherson Oblast, killing one resident and injuring two, Governor Oleksandr Prokudin said.

A 67-year-old man in Odradokamyanka was fatally injured in a drone attack.

In the evening, a 76-year-old woman was seriously injured by artillery fire in Kozatske and was hospitalized. In Komysany, a 63-year-old woman was injured by Russian troops during an attack on a farm and sought medical help herself.

There were no casualties in an FPV drone attack on a residential building in Mykhailivka; the damage is currently being assessed.

In autumn 2022, Ukrainian forces liberated Kherson and other settlements on the west bank of the Dnipro River as part of a counteroffensive.

Russian troops were pushed back to the east bank of the river, from where they have since fired on the liberated areas, regularly resulting in civilian deaths and the destruction of large houses and infrastructure.
