Man arrested after suspected fentanyl and meth found during traffic stop in Henderson County

HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said a man was arrested after suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl were found during a traffic stop Thursday.

On Thursday around 3 p.m., a Henderson County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a white 2019 Dodge Challenger for an alleged traffic violation. According to officials, a Kaufman County Sheriff’s deputy also assisted with the stop.


K9 Vinnie conducted an “open air sniff” and allegedly alerted officers to narcotics. The Challenger was searched and suspected methamphetamine and suspected fentanyl were found.

Aaron Chase Calvert, 28, of Mabank, was subsequently arrested on two counts of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance between four and 200 grams. He is being held in the Henderson County Jail on a total of $200,000 bail.
