Road rage incident leads to assault charges in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE – A St. Johnsbury man faces a misdemeanor charge following a driving aggression incident last month in Lyndonville.

Damyon Norway, 32, was charged with the alleged attack on Darren Betts, 46, also of St. Johnsbury, that occurred on Broad Street at around 5:56 p.m. on May 13, according to Vermont State Police.

Police had responded to reports of a road rage incident and found Norway had confronted Betts outside her vehicle, which led to the alleged assault.

Norway received a summons on June 26 and is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on August 19 at 8:30 a.m.

The incident remains under investigation by the Vermont State Police.
