Single-vehicle accident in Grafton sends driver to hospital with injuries

GRAFTON, W.Va (WDTV) – A driver was hospitalized with injuries following a single-vehicle crash in Grafton Saturday afternoon.

At approximately 12:33 p.m., the driver drove into a building on West Main Street in Grafton. The building was the Grafton Veterans of Foreign Wars building.

According to Harrison County 911, there was no damage to the building and no one inside was injured. The driver was transported to UHC with injuries.

The road was closed while rescue crews responded, but Harrison County 911 reported that the road is now open again.

Grafton Fire and Police Departments responded along with Taylor County EMS and the Sheriff’s Department.
