Semi-trailer crashes into house, investigations ongoing

MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) – Mission police are investigating a tractor-trailer that crashed into a home.

The incident occurred around 9 a.m. in the 2600 block of W. Expressway 83, near Jr.’s Tires and Wheels.

Art Flores, spokesman for the Mission Police Department, told ValleyCentral that no one was on the property when the semi-trailer crashed into the house.

Authorities say the man is still inside the truck. Mission firefighters are taking the best measures to free the driver from the truck and prevent further structural damage.
