Police investigate shooting at southwest Atlanta apartment complex that leaves one dead – 95.5 WSB

ATLANTA — Early Saturday morning, police poured into a southwest Atlanta neighborhood, investigating a deadly shooting.

Police at the scene told Channel 2’s Bryan Mims that the shooting left a man in his 20s dead at a Peyton Place apartment complex.

Atlanta Police Department Lt. Andrew Smith said the shots came from outside the apartment, fired from the street. Police were called to the apartment around 3 a.m.
