4 dead in Coweta County in apparent early morning murder-suicide – WSB-TV Channel 2

COWETA COUNTY, Georgia – The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office said four people were killed in a suspected murder-suicide.

Coweta County officials responded to a home on Crabapple Court around 1 a.m. Saturday morning. The sheriff’s office said Coweta E-911 received several emergency calls from the area.

When officers arrived at the home, they found two bodies in the driveway and another in the doorway of the home. A man ran into the home and officers heard a gunshot.

The Coweta County SWAT team was called to the scene and the residence was secured.

Inside they found a fourth dead person.

The CCSO Criminal Investigation Division is currently on scene and actively investigating the incident, but the Sheriff’s Office said it appears to be a murder-suicide.

No names of the victims have been released yet, the family of the deceased is still being notified.

The sheriff’s office said more information will be provided as it becomes available.
