Suspect wanted for attempted sexual assault in Canoga Park

Police on Friday asked the public for help in identifying a man suspected of sexually assaulting a 24-year-old woman in Canoga Park and released surveillance video of the suspect.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Owensmouth Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, where a woman was approached and sexually assaulted by a man while walking.

Investigators identified the suspect as a 6-foot-tall Hispanic man between the ages of 25 and 30, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
