Mt. Hope: Police search for mother and missing baby in custody dispute

The NYPD is asking the public for help in locating mother Kaylah Jackson, 19, and her daughter Khloe Jackson, 1, who were reported missing and are seen in this video in connection with an incident of custodial obstruction. The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in locating the reported missing female infant and her mother seen in the attached video and photos. They said the mother is wanted in connection with a custody violation incident.

Police from the 46th Precinct said the 19-year-old mother was visiting her 1-year-old girl and fled with her on Thursday, June 27. They said the missing child was last seen with his mother at 1780 Grand Concourse in the Mt. Hope neighborhood around 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 27.

They said the baby is a black girl with brown eyes, about 2 feet tall and weighs about 30 pounds. They said she was last seen in a gray stroller, wearing blue shorts, a blue character-print T-shirt and blue Nike Jordan sneakers.

Police said the missing child was identified as Khloe Jackson and her mother, the woman being sought, was identified as 19-year-old Kaylah Jackson.

Kaylah Jackson is described as female, with dark skin and dark hair, approximately 5’10” tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue shorts, black crocodile sandals and carrying a gray backpack.
