ALARM: Police investigating early morning shooting on 6th St SE

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE NOW) – Just after midnight on June 29, police were called to the 700 block of 6th Street SE for a report of a shooting.

No injuries or damage were reported.

The police are on site and collecting evidence.

6th St SE from Monticello Ave. to Blenheim Ave. is closed during the investigation.

Authorities advise the public to avoid the area until further notice.
