Accident fund deals with cyber problems

LANSING, Michigan (WLNS) – A central Michigan company is mostly offline after detecting “unusual activity” on its network systems.

Accident Fund, an insurance company headquartered in downtown Lansing, is currently trying to make its system more secure.

Meanwhile, the insurance company’s homepage has been reduced to a very poor basis.

A company spokesperson told 6 News that there has been no impact on customer information at this time.

The Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services is aware of the situation.
