Omaha police made an arrest in a sexual assault case that KETV Crime Stoppers brought to light days earlier. Terry Williams, 41, was arrested Friday on a charge of first-degree sexual assault. According to police, the woman said the man, who called himself “Andrew,” started walking with her between 15th and 16th streets downtown. They walked through Gene Leahy Mall and along the riverfront. The woman said that’s where she was sexually assaulted. She went into a building and the suspect followed her to the door. Surveillance video from the Omaha Riverfront area showed a man walking with the victim around 6:30 a.m. on June 15.

According to police, the woman said the man, identified as “Andrew,” was walking with her between 15th and 16th streets downtown.

They walked through Gene Leahy Mall and along the riverfront.

The woman said she was sexually assaulted there.

She entered a building and the suspect followed her to the door.

When he left, she was able to get help.
