Self-proclaimed godman and rape convict Jalebi Baba dies in prison

Haryana, May 9 (HBTV): Self-proclaimed godman Baba Billu Ram, also called Jalebi Baba, who was convicted of raping over 120 women and lodged in Haryana’s Hisar Central Jail-1 after serving a 14-year sentence, died of a heart attack on Thursday, according to reports.

He was reportedly rushed to hospital on Tuesday evening after complaining of feeling unwell. However, the doctor declared him dead.

Ram alias Amarpuri was lodged in a prison in Hisar after his conviction in January 2023. He was found guilty of raping three of his disciples, including a minor, and making videos of the act. He reportedly drugged and raped over 100 women.
