The orphan girl was living in a nursing home and learning tailoring at an institute in Secunderabad. As she was on her way to the tailoring institute, Sridharan approached her.
The girl first informed the nursing home administrator about her ordeal and three days later filed a complaint with the police. Sridharan, a resident of Yapr-al, was subsequently arrested.
