Man allegedly raped daughter

Suspect was home alone with his 14-year-old daughter

KOT ADDU:

A man is said to have sexually abused his daughter on Friday.

Police said plaintiff Zahida Bibi has three sons and six daughters with defendant Younis Kumhar.

On the day of the incident, the defendant was home alone with his 14-year-old daughter when he sexually abused her.

Bibi reported that the suspect had committed similar crimes before, but threatened her with serious consequences if she reported them.

Meanwhile, a man sexually abused his sister-in-law at gunpoint.

The victim, a resident of the New Judicial Complex, was married to Irshad Ahmad Gadi and lived with his family in the same house.

Her brother-in-law, Sajjad Hussain Gadi, sexually abused her at gunpoint on several occasions and threatened her with serious consequences if she told her husband.

However, when the woman’s brother, Muhammad Shafiq, visited her, she confided in him.

When confronted, the defendant threw an axe at the brother and ran out of the house.

The district police have registered a case and are investigating the incident further. SHO police station president Zawar Hussain said, “Once the accused Younis Kumhar is arrested, he will be given strict punishment by producing the medical report and other facts.”

In a similar incident earlier this month, a man named Umar Hayat tortured and killed his daughter and threw her body into a well.

According to police, the accused and his sons accused the girl of having a lack of character and murdered her for honor reasons.

The accused suspected that the murdered woman, Misbah Bibi, had had illicit relations with a man. The police took the accused and his sons into custody and handed over the body to the heirs after the autopsy.

In another incident, eight armed men are said to have abducted a woman from her home.

According to police, the accused Muhammad Dilawar, Muhammad Owais, Muhammad Bilal and Zafar Iqbal along with three unidentified armed men entered the residence of the plaintiff Muhammad Asif and abducted his wife.

They escaped with three tolas of jewellery and thirty thousand in cash.

A case has been registered with the Thana city police and further investigation is underway.
