Boating accident on Jimmerson Lake injures Ohio man | Local

FREMONT, Ind. (WFFT) – An Ohio man was injured in a boating accident June 27 on Jimmerson Lake.

Randy Peters, 56, of Bryan, Ohio, was piloting a hydrofoil near the Nevada Mills area of ​​Jimmerson Lake when he lost his balance and fell. The fall caused his hand to strike the vehicle’s propeller.

Officers were dispatched to the scene at 7:08 p.m. Peters was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne in stable condition with a serious hand injury.
