CCSO: 2 found dead with gunshot wounds Thursday evening in home on Lake Tansi in Cumberland Co.

According to a news release from authorities, officers went to the home around 10:13 p.m. Central Time. They said the Lake Tansi Security Office received a call about a welfare check for 5029 Shoshone Loop. When office staff arrived at the home, they found the two people dead, the news release said.

Officers and investigators then went to the house. The sheriff’s office said the two were identified as Gary Agopsowicz, 56, and Angela Fifelski, 56. The two were married and the sheriff’s office said both had gunshot wounds.

The investigation into their deaths was ongoing Friday afternoon and investigators were working to determine the circumstances of their deaths. Both were taken to the medical examiner’s office for autopsies.

The sheriff’s office also said there was no threat to public safety.
