First responders dispatched to fire in Dearborn County, two accidents in Ripley County.

The incidents were reported within a few minutes of each other.

(Southeast Indiana) – Area first responders are on scene this afternoon where three separate incidents occurred.

Multiple fire crews were dispatched to a building fire on Basket Lane in Bright at around 1:53 p.m.

According to the Dearborn County Dispatch, a residential building was completely engulfed in flames and may have contained several oxygen tanks inside.

Firefighters on site have reported that several people have become homeless as a result of the fire. The Red Cross has been asked for assistance.

Shortly after the fire was reported, two accidents were reported in Ripley County. A single-vehicle accident was reported on State Road 101 at State Road 46 in Sunman, while a hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle was reported in front of Milan High School.
