Recall alert: Lexus NX, RX

Lexus will recall approximately 11,000 2024 and 2025 model year NX SUVs and 2024 model year RX SUVs because their head restraints are not properly secured.

The company explains that the headrests “may be removable without pressing the release button,” which makes them non-compliant with federal safety standards.

Dealers will replace both front seat headrests with new models with functioning release buttons.
