Wanted fugitive from Lake City arrested in Awendaw

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office arrested a fugitive wanted by Lake City Police in Awendaw on Thursday.

Officers arrested 19-year-old Timetrius Brown of Lake City, South Carolina, just after 2 p.m. Thursday. Officials say officers were patrolling the area of ​​North Highway 17 and Doar Road when they saw a vehicle that was flagged in a database.

Based on the charges associated with the vehicle, officers conducted a felony stop during which the driver was called out of the vehicle.

According to authorities, the driver was arrested and identified as Brown.

Brown was transported to the Sheriff Al Cannon Jail, where he is being held by Lake City Police on two counts of attempted murder, one count of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and one count of discharging a firearm into a dwelling.
