Sexual harassment at Disney World’s Haunted Mansion revealed in new report

A guest was reportedly sexually assaulted at Disney’s popular Haunted Mansion attraction in Florida.

A Walt Disney World guest has accused another guest of yelling at his butt while waiting in line for Huanted Manion. This classic haunted house is located at Disney’s Magic Kingdom park in Florida and is one of the resort’s most popular attractions.

The suspect was ultimately not found, but the alleged harassment occurred during a stretching room section of Haunted Mansion.

According to a new report from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on April 13, 2024. Much of the new report is redacted, but it reveals some important details about the incident.

The guest, a woman, said the inappropriate touching was not an accident as it occurred over a long period of time. According to the guest, a middle-aged man touched her butt for several seconds, leading her to believe the groping was intentional.

“She informed me that although the offender had his hand on her buttocks, he applied firm pressure to her and there was no doubt that he knew what he was doing,” the deputy said in the report.

According to the new report, the female guest told another male guest, who then confronted the suspect.

“What the hell is wrong with you, you pervert,” said the man.

The Haunted Mansion is one of Disney’s most iconic attractions and is unique in many ways. The attraction is incredibly dark, both figuratively and literally, and features some pretty scary, spooky characters and spooky music.

The Haunted Mansion is especially unique because guests must wait in line. Most of the time, guests wait in a traditional line to get into the Haunted Mansion.

However, once guests enter the entrance and approach the “Stretching Room,” they are asked to fill all available space. Disney Cast Members inform guests that there is no longer a single-line line at this point and ask them to squeeze in close to others.

This part of the Haunted Mansion can be incredibly claustrophobic and at times chaotic, and this is where the alleged molestation took place. This room is also incredibly dark, making this type of molestation easily possible.
