Moses Lake man arrested for assault and robbery

LAKE MOSES — A Moses Lake man was booked into the Grant County Jail after his arrest Thursday morning on charges that include second-degree assault and first-degree robbery.

Cesar Concepcion Adame, 41, was arrested around 5:50 a.m. on Interstate 90 near Moses Lake. Adame had just left his home in the 2000 block of West Peninsular Drive, according to a news release from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Adame’s vehicle was impounded; around the same time, police officers issued a search warrant for his home.

“The investigation and charges stem from an alleged illegal drug trafficking operation directed by Adame,” the GCSO said in a press release.

During the search of the apartment, officers seized illegal drugs, a handgun and more than $11,800 in cash.

In addition to the assault and burglary charges, Adame was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, first-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of methamphetamine with intent to traffic, and possession of fentanyl with intent to traffic.

The case is being investigated by the regional drug enforcement team INET.
