Socialists present draft resolution to suspend sale of nuclear power plant equipment to Ukraine

The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will submit a draft resolution to suspend negotiations with Ukraine on the sale of equipment originally intended for the Belene nuclear power plant, BSP MP Dragomir Stoynev told journalists on Friday.

Stoynev called the sale of the equipment treasonous given its compatibility with that of the Kozloduy nuclear power plant and the ongoing repairs of Kozloduy reactor unit 6.
