Woman became pregnant after sexually abusing 11-year-old boy: police

A Florida woman has been charged with sexual assault after allegedly having sex with an 11-year-old boy and becoming pregnant as a result, authorities said.

Marissa Mowry, 25, is being held without bail in the Hillsborough County Jail, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

She was 22 when she allegedly had sex with the boy at a home in Port Richey, authorities said. She gave birth to the child in October 2014.

Mowry and the boy continued to have sexual relations when the child was between 11 and 14 years old, the department said.

The woman’s child, now three years old, will be placed in the care of a responsible adult, officials said.

A phone message left by InsideEdition.com with the sheriff’s office on Wednesday was not immediately returned.
