Near-drowning accident involving teenager in Rancho Mirage

On June 27 at 4:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 72000 block of Sierra Vista Dr., Rancho Mirage, for a possible drowning accident.

Upon arrival, officers found a juvenile who was awake and breathing.

The teenager was taken to the local hospital for medical examination.
