Car explodes in Herzliya residential area, one man killed

A man was pronounced dead following a car explosion that occurred in a residential area in Herzliya on Friday, Israeli media reported on Friday morning.

MDA reported that another man was moderately injured in the incident and taken to hospital for treatment of burns.

An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances that led to the explosion. Two fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene to control the fire that broke out after the explosion.
