Union City firefighter shot Thursday morning, police now investigating – WSB-TV Channel 2

UNION CITY, Ga. – A Union City firefighter was shot early Thursday morning and the shooting is under investigation.

Channel 2 action news I have contacted the Union City Police Department and the Union City Fire Department but have not yet received any information from the police.

A fire department representative confirmed the shooting occurred and the firefighter was taken to the hospital. He added that the shooting was under investigation, but further details were not yet available.
