Orange County teacher’s assistant arrested and charged with lewd acts against young girls

An Orange County teaching assistant was arrested for allegedly performing lewd acts on young girls.

The suspect was identified as 21-year-old Giacomo “Jack” Antonio Valdivieso-Vargas, according to Tustin police.

Vargas worked as a teaching assistant at Utt Middle School in Tustin.

According to investigators, Vargas inappropriately touched a 12-year-old girl while he was employed.

He also made sexual comments to at least two other 12-year-old girls, officials said.

Vargas was arrested Thursday on charges of child abuse, child molestation and lewd or lascivious acts on a child under 14.
