Man shot in Three Oaks Park, shooter at large

On Thursday morning, a man was shot in his car at Three Oaks Community Park in San Carlos Park. Officers are on scene investigating the homicide. The Sheriff’s Office has not identified the victim at this time. LCSO arrived on scene at 8:11 a.m. and said the victim had been shot multiple times. Life-saving measures were administered. Reports indicate the suspect has not been caught.The northbound and southbound lanes of Three Oaks Parkway have reopened. SAN CARLOS PARK, Florida —

A man was shot in his car at Three Oaks Community Park in San Carlos Park Thursday morning.

Officers are on scene investigating the murder. The Sheriff’s Office has not identified the victim at this time.

The LCSO arrived at the scene at 8:11 a.m. The victim reported being shot multiple times. Life-saving measures were taken.

According to reports, the suspect was not caught.

Three northbound and southbound lanes of Oaks Parkway have been reopened.

Deputies say the park will remain closed while detectives investigate the scene.

Three Oaks Middle School was locked down in the morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol was on site with its canine unit and assisted at the scene of the accident.
